Privacy policy

Palco Rooms&Suites In accordance with Article 13 of Legislative Decree No 196 of June 30, 2003 (known as “Codice Privacy”), wishes to inform forthwith the customers preferred that the personal data of the same will be treated in full respect of all their rights and fundamental freedoms, with particular reference to legislation on the protection of privacy and personal identity and the right to data protection and, anyway, in compliance with the minimum security measures required by law.
In particular, Palco Rooms&Suites carry out the processing of personal data for the following purposes:
a) fulfillment of hotel services and related operations and consequent
b) the fulfillment of legal, tax, accounting and similar;
Please note that the provision of data for the above purposes is optional, however, in case of refusal to supply, Palco Rooms&Suites may not be able to provide the required services.
Personal data will be treated both with electronic / computer, either using paper, in any case in respect of the minimum security measures and will be retained for the time necessary for the execution of the said purposes.
The Data Palco Rooms&Suites is located in Via Cavour, 118 - 90139 Palermo, where will be stored and kept the data collected.
At any time the client may exercise his rights against the owner of the treatment, under Article 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, which can obtain confirmation of whether or not personal data concerning him, even if not yet registered, and ask for their communication in intelligible form. It will also have the right to obtain indication: a) the origin of the personal data b) the purposes and methods of treatment c) the logic applied in case of treatment with the aid of electronic instruments d) the identity the owner, manager and the representative appointed under article 5, paragraph 2 e) subjects or categories of persons to whom the data may be communicated or who can learn about them as appointed representative in the territory of State, managers or agents.
It will also be entitled to obtain:
a) updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of data;
b) cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
c) certification that the operations as per letters a) and b) have been notified, also as regards their content, to those to whom the data were communicated, except in cases where this proves impossible or involves means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.
In compliance with the minimum of security, personal data may also be disclosed to public safety and other public and private entities for the fulfillment of obligations under the law including fiscal, administrative,
financial and the like. In no event will the data be made public.
Finally, the customer will have the preferential right to oppose, in whole or in part:
a) for legitimate reasons the processing of personal data, pertinent for collection purposes;
b) the processing of personal data for purposes of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for carrying out market surveys or commercial communication, addressed to the Owner, to which he is also available, on request, the 'complete and updated list of Data Processors.

We may use third party service providers to process personal data on our behalf, for the above purposes. For example, we may share some information with these third parties so they can contact you directly by e-mail (for example: to ask you to post a review about your stay and your travel experience).
